Workshops Conducted by DR. Girija's Academy.

Sangeethasri - Dr Girija Seshamamba taught patriotic songs to many street children and rag pickers of Jan Vikas Society, Mumbai. She visited orphan homes in Panvel and Kopherkairne for more than a month and taught them patriotic songs. She prepared them for a performance on 26th Jan 2010. This touching act of spreading the knowledge of divine music showed her enthusiasm to inculcate patriotism in the deserted children. Earlier also she has taken few tasks to teach patriotic songs to the municipal school children. She has also taught songs in different languages to 1500 school children and she had a grand program on 26th Jan 2008 along with 1500 school children in Mumbai.

  • To inculcate habit of learning music and to pass it to the next generations, she is taking opportunity to spread the knowledge of carnatic music, such as taking free classes through Sri Sesha Sai Sangeetha Academy in Mumbai and conducting work shops.
  • Workshop conducted at Nagpur from 23rd April to 02nd May 2010  and had given a program along with participants at Nagpur on 02.05.2010 which was applauded by many people. At the request of residents of Navi Mumbai from 06.05.2010 to 05.06.2010, she conducted another workshop at Mumbai.
  • Conducted a free40-day workshop at Sivananda ashram,Padmarao Nagar,Hyderabad and program organized on 19-02-2012
  • Her Kindness and service oriented nature could not stop her to teach music to women prisoners in chanchalguda jail  in Hyderabad and made them perform on Oct2nd 2013.
  • Free 40-day Workshop conducted on Padma Rao nagar Balaji temple and participants performed in temple on 09-02-2013 .
  • Sree Sesha Sai Academy conducted a 40-day free Workshop  and performance given at Gnana Saraswathi temple,Hyderabad on 14-03-2013.
  • Workshop conducted for 40days free in Orphanage Girls school and made all to participate in a program conducted on Aug 15th 2014 on occasion of  Independence Day.
  • Conducted a 40 days workshop at Saroor nagar for women of different ages and made all of them to give performance at Sivarama Kshetram on 13.09.2014
  • Conducted a workshop in Chaitanyapuri Ramalayam in hyderabad  and made participants to perform on june 6th 2015
  •        Conducted online workshop on July 12 th 2020 Topic- Learning a nd practice techniques in Carnatic music 
  •       Online workshop Topic- Dhanwantari and Durga Suladi on Aug 2nd 2020
